Through her directing journey on different mediums, Yasmeen AlKayed aims to draw attention to social-political injustices in the Middle East. This is also apparent in her MFA graduation project, "Give Me A Chance", a short film which raises awareness about the struggles refugees encounter because of their status as refugees and sheds the light on the post-war life changing traumas they have to live with, including, the aftermath of the physical and mental challenges.
